"The crew at Banquet created a recording experience that could not have been better, so much so that we named the album A Carrtunes Banquet in partial acknowledgement of their invaluable contribution. From our first meeting until the final wrap, Banquet was a full partner in our creative process, helping us achieve levels of quality, intimacy, and inspiration that far exceeded our expectations.

Though we have played together for over thirty years, we had never before experienced the kind of recording high that comes when players and place are a perfect fit, but this is territory that Banquet calls home. At the end of every session we were sorry to leave.

One cut from the album - Our House, Our Town - has been accepted for Grammy consideration in the Best American Roots Song category. Without Banquet's help we could never have gotten that far, it's just that simple."
