Midnight Sun leads the Sonoma County Reggae, Afrofunk, Dance and All Around Good Time Music Scene

Midnight Sun has been leading the Sonoma county Reggae, Afrofunk, dance and all around good time music scene since its inception in 1986. Over that time, Midnight Sun has shared the stage with the likes of The Neville Brothers, Jimmie Cliff, Sly and the Family Stone, Junior Toots, Pato Banton and countless others. Founding members Milo Karobi and Andre Russel have guided the band through an eclectic mix of Reggae, Ska, Soca and Caribbean beats as well as Jazz, Funk and Rock. Midnight Sun is guaranteed to get you up on the dance floor and keep you there!

Our first session with Banquet Sound was in 2016 and we enjoyed every aspect of the recording process. The Banquet Studio grounds are gorgeous and the Studio is fantastic! Together, with Banquet Studios, we were able to create Midnight Sun’s best recording to date. All of our future recording will be with Banquet Studios and we would absolutely recommend them to both established and upcoming musicians.

Midnight Sun’s current lineup is Milo Karobi, vocals; Andre Russel, vocals and keyboards; Victor Hall, vocals, keyboards and percussion; Lee Payne, bass; James Marchbanks, drums; Greg Call, guitar; and our two newest members Alex Axt and Peter Bacchus, soprano, alto and baritone sax.
